Whether we’re celebrating standout Alaska businesses or reporting on the state of our local visitor economy, these can’t-miss events are important additions to members’ calendars.

Report to the Community

Catch a recap of Visit Anchorage’s recent work and a preview of the year ahead with the annual Report to the Community. Held annually in February, it’s a chance to hear directly from Visit Anchorage leadership in advance of the biggest season, on industry trends, local performance, national forecasting, and a wide range of issues important to Alaska travel and tourism.

Seymour Awards

Traditionally hosted in the spring, the Seymour Awards is a gala-style event held to honor Alaska businesses’ extraordinary contributions to the Anchorage visitor industry and community as a whole.

Frontline Tradeshow

Hosted in advance of the busy summer season, Visit Anchorage’s annual spring frontline tradeshow gives businesses an important opportunity to connect with local tour operators and share information with frontline workers — the first ones to welcome visitors when they arrive. The trade show can host more than 100 vendors, engaging with hundreds of local industry employees and frontline staff.

Toast to Tourism

Celebrate the successes of a season. Thank your frontline staff as summer reaches its crescendo. Tickets get you drinks, food, and live entertainment at the Dena'ina Center after work one day in mid-September.

Holiday Open House

Spread a little holiday cheer with fellow members. This festive event brings together members for an open house at Visit Anchorage's office in Historic City Hall. The event features food, drink, desserts, and live music, and also features a charity drive for contributions to worthy community organizations.
